Sacramental Uses:
Shamanic Snuff is blown into the nose with tools called Kuripe and Tepi – one for self-application, the other for sharing with someone else.
Found throughout the Amazon. It is used in traditional Amazonian medicine and shamanism as a medicinal herb and as a tool for shamanic journeys.
Snuff is usually administered by a shaman through a bone or wooden straw called Tepi. Small amounts of snuff are blown through the nostrils, one after the other. The effect can be powerful and immediate!
Every medicinal plant is considered by indigenous tribes as a sacrament and as a prayer or intention. We recommend to use this sacred snuff in an environment that is honouring the plant for its teaching and healing abilities.
Also, it is very essential to aim your mind and prepare an intention before embracing Hape,
To take Hapé start with a dose of a pea size and flat it down on the palm of your hand, always keep concentration. With your applicator insert half in the applicator. Take a deep inhale and blow on your left nostril, exhale through your mouth, then insert the remaining and inhale, hold your breathe, blow into your right nostril. Exhale!
Now keep the silence and concentration, and let the force clean you. Blow your nose 3 min after.
Our Hapé:
The most important part of our sacrament is the integrity that comes with, working closely with the Families in Acre, Brazil were most of our Hapé is produced, each batch carefully crafted and sang evoking the power of the Spirit of this Medicine for the ultimate healing effect.
We consider this Medicine a Sacrament, and we hope is seen with eyes of respect and trust towards our fellow brothers and sister from the Amazon forest who make it. We feel that this special plant should be spiritually studied and when sharing this or any other type of medicine or sacrament always invite people to make their own research and when you initiate someone you are partially responsible for their first steps in education with this plant.
